Job Overview:

GaN is seeking a Test Systems Architect to tackle the unique challenges of designing, planning, and executing large scale missile tests over large distances where multiple test ranges are involved. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision timing, communication protocols, network engineering, and missile flight testing.


  • Design networked systems and system-of-systems to coordinate and automated distributed instrumentation, data collection, command and control, and data visualization systems.
  • Manage precision time synchronization over networks spanning thousands of kilometers.
  • Incorporate cybersecurity best practices into new systems, into the modernization of legacy systems, and into the system-of-systems architecture.
  • Develop software to meet the Test Enabling Network Architecture (TENA) standards
  • Perform system integration testing.
  • Derive and develop systems to perform test planning, test execution simulations, and test report automation.

Requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline and 10+ years of experience
  • 5 years of Distributed Test or System-of-Systems Architecture Experience
  • Networking certification or security certification
  • Demonstrated network development experience.


Special Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
