Job Overview:

GaN is seeking a senior operations analyst to support our team with ongoing needs in Huntsville, AL.


In support of mission requirements and aligned task sets, the candidate will manage information exchanges with internal and external stakeholders; archive key data and information within the Project Office SharePoint knowledge management system; develop, coordinate, refine policies, procedures, directives instructions, and other communications for Government review; research and advise Government leads for areas of responsibility; and, within defined constraints, will represent Operations functional leadership at meetings and conferences.  In addition, the candidate will provide support in the following Operations task areas:

  • Tasker & Staff Action Management:  Consistent with Government guidance,  originate, coordinate and assign tasker lead responsibility in the Project Office SharePoint Task Management System (TMS), review Action Officer-generated draft taskers for completeness prior to publishing tasker, officially publish taskers to subordinate organizations within the TMS, and tracks/reports tasker status against external suspense dates. Will have a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Synchronize and Resource Organizational Engagements and Key Information:  Lead or assist in activities required to plan, coordinate, resource, and execute organizational events (meetings, town halls, industry days, ceremonies).
  • Task Management: Track Taskers for the Project Office and coordinate with Government employees and other Contractor personnel throughout the organization to staff, draft answers, and track taskers and suspense to ensure a timely response IAW assigned suspense date. Receive, review, and assign taskers to subordinate elements as required. In cases where taskers are unclear, seek guidance to eliminate ambiguity.
  • Policy Development Support:  Assist and support policy development. Assist in drafting documents and making recommendations in matters related to interpretation, implementation, formulation and evaluation of operational and administrative policies, procedures, and processes related to the overall operation and management.
  • Briefing Support:  Prepare, provide, and update briefings and communications for the Project Office. Coordinate with Government employees and other personnel throughout the organization to prepare briefings to include communications with higher headquarters.
  • Meeting support:  Ensure that the Product Office is appropriately represented at Higher Headquarters meetings and conferences.  Attend meetings and conferences as the technical subject matter expert of Project Office as requested by the Government point of contact (GPOC).  Discuss information from and final outcome of these meetings and conferences with the GPOC, including recommendations and advice to assist the GPOC in his final decision.


Requirements (minimum):

  • BS in engineering, business, or operations research
  • 8 years concentrated in the functional responsibility area of the position
  • Must have strong skills and depth of experience in the development of an array of alternative solutions for program management challenges relating to cost, schedule, production, fielding, and sustainment.
  • Must have the ability to digest complex technical issues and evaluate those issues to assess the impact to the program.
  • Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment and the interpersonal skills to interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working individually as well as organizing and facilitating working groups.
  • Must have experience preparing detailed written reports and briefings suitable for presentation to senior level military and corporate leadership, as well as experience presenting material orally.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products.


Desired Skills:

  • Familiarization with Army aviation platforms.
  • Army Product Office experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
