Job Overview:


GaN is seeking a Documentation Analyst in Huntsville, AL. This is an entry level position supporting a customer located on Redstone Arsenal.  The successful candidate should be detailed oriented, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Main focus is coordination of senior level meetings which includes developing and distributing agendas,  scheduling meetings, recording detailed meeting minutes, and updating records
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records to support the work of technical and governance boards
  • Works closely with the Documentation Manager to develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and work instructions, in conjunction with technical resources
  • Ensure documents meet standards for quality, graphics, format and style 
  • Creates IT Knowledge Base documentation for end users
  • Responsible for the storage, cataloging and retrieval of documents.  Ensure all documentation is stored in document repository under version control
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reporting and other deliverables
  • Work with technical leadership to update and maintain policy and procedure documentation
  • Create and maintain graphics and diagrams associated with process workflows and enterprise computing solutions

Qualifications

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with Visio a plus

 

Requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • Interim Security clearance

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge Management Application
  • Active Security clearance

 

Special Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
