Job Overview:

GaN is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama.


The candidate(s) will work within a team to fill company positions in all areas of the business.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for both technical and non-technical positions, as well as cleared positions, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with managers to determine and understand the skill sets and technical requirements of the position.
  • Create, edit, post, and share job descriptions.
  • Identify, recruit, screen, and present appropriate candidates for positions to hiring managers.
  • Complete reference checks for potential employees and provide data to hiring managers.
  • Facilitate candidate interviews and request feedback from management regarding candidates prior to developing offer details.
  • Build and maintain a quality candidate pool of multiple skillsets for future job openings.
  • Assist in management of social media accounts.
  • Participate in job fairs, information sessions and special recruiting events as needed.
  • Provide creative solutions to hiring positions in a competitive space.


Requirements (minimum):

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field and 5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter



  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of technical positions.
  • Must be proficient in online recruiting tools and the ability to analyze candidate databases.
  • Must have the ability to efficiently pick up processes, procedures and systems.
  • Experience reviewing resumes, posting jobs and sourcing of both active and passive talent.
  • Knowledge of Boolean searches.
  • Experience coordinating complex interview scheduling with multiple hiring managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required within all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience in a metrics driven role.
  • Experience in the Government Contracting, Aerospace and Defense Industries.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter tool preferred.
