Job Overview:

 

GaN has an opportunity for a Senior Fielding Technician team member to work on the Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Fire Control System located on Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, Alabama.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operate Multiple Launch Rocket Systems platforms for the purposes of demonstrations, issue investigations, and training material development.
  • Develop training material to support multiple branches of software development and capabilities.
  • Travels in support of training events for CONUS and OCONUS software fieldlings.
  • Interacts with Government leads to determine level of tasks associated with training events.
  • Interacts with customers, military members (US / FMS), and leadership to conduct training and provide in/out brief material.
  • Documents and communicates issue to Software development team. Supports analysis of issues during software baseline development and resolution of open issues.
  • Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
  • Development of training materials and associated documentation to support MLRS Test Tools and Tactical Planning applications.

Qualifications

Requirements (minimum):

 

  • BS degree and 9+ years related experience: four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Military Instructor certifications
  • Experience with Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) vehicle platforms.
  • Experience with MLRS Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Battery and Platoon operations.
  • Experience with the MLRS Family of Munitions (MFOM).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated evidence of initiative and self-starting.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment with flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Task and customer oriented.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of MLRS platform support tools.
  • Military organizational structure.

 

Special Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • MUST be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
