Job Overview:


GaN is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst and Materiel Fielding Account Manager to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama to support PEO AVN. Supports the PEOAVN Materiel Fielding mission by tracking and providing oversight of the Materiel execution and works to ensure Materiel fielding account auditability.  Performs coordination and communications within the entire Aviation enterprise.


  • Experience planning, coordinating, communicating, and providing oversight of Fleet Management and materiel fielding Reporting
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Planning, and Execution of Fleet Management and aircraft configuration management
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Army standard materiel fielding STAMIS programs, GCSSA, Aircraft Notebook Software, CAMMS, Advantage, ARCOP
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Army supply management and equipment accountability processes
  • Full understanding of Army materiel fielding process as outline in AR 700-142, and the equipment modification processes as outlined in AR750-10
  • Renders input in preparation for high-level meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, corporate executives, government action officers, and other vendors. This input may be narrative or charts and should be of a quality that little rework is required by senior analyst or PM
  • Manage assigned materiel readiness reporting accounts or program elements to a level of accuracy expected of a senior analyst
  • Review, analyze, and interpret various PEOAVN materiel readiness accounts to ensure compliance with Army regulations, directives, AMAMs, and AMAMs
  • Works collaboratively with the Army Aviation Enterprise to ensure that PEOAVN fleet management support efforts provided consistently to enable the highest level of equipment readiness
  • Reviews and analyzes GCSSA, ARCOP, and CAMMS data inputs to ensure that PEOAVN accounts are correct
  • Provides technical assistance and guidance to customer's staff on materiel fielding process, legacy system retirement, and target system implementation
  • Participates in meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, government action officers, and other vendors to gather and integrate data, assist with project scheduling, and track progress of assigned work segments
  • Reviews and consolidates PEOAVN Fleet Readiness and flying hour inputs from multiple product offices
  • Reviews and consolidates SmartCharts (Program Reviews) input from multiple product offices
  • Receives reviews, disseminates, consolidates, and reports various materiel fielding related taskers from higher headquarters


  • BA/ BS Engineering or in a related field with 5 years of reliability experience
  • An AA/AS may be substituted for the BA/ BS when combined with a total of 10 years equivalent logistics work experience
  • Must have experience with utilization of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of Aviation platforms, systems, and subsystems
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment
  • Must have QASM, Materiel Release tracking and documentation review, Materiel Fielding account experience
  • Experience with Materiel Release and Materiel Fielding account standards, regulations, policies, procedures, processes, techniques, models, tools, and organizations pertinent to the practice of Fleet configuration management and Fielded capability
  • Experience resolving Materiel Readiness and management execution and management issues
  • Ability to manage complex development and Materiel Readiness and Fleet Management projects, work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Conduct comprehensive management studies or projects
  • Develop strong working relationships with subordinates, peers, and management personnel and ensure all team members conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
