Job Overview:

 

GaN is seeking an experienced Divestiture Lead to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama to Lead the efforts on several key divest programs, such as the UH-60 Best program. Responsible for planning coordinating and executing exchange sales efforts for PEOAVN programs.  Specializes in areas of Divestment efforts to include demil, exchange sales and GSA auctions

Responsibilities

  • Experience planning, coordinating, communicating, and providing oversight of Aviation program activities and support efforts
  • Primary point of contact with all potential customers of the exchange sales program
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Planning, and Execution of Acquisition Logistics support and oversight of divestment and exchange sales support
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Army staffing, communications, and coordination processes that enable documentation approval
  • Render input in preparation for high-level meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, corporate executives, government action officers, and other vendors. This input may be narrative or charts and should be of a quality that little rework is required by senior analyst or PM
  • Participate in meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, government action officers, and other vendors to gather and integrate data, assist with project scheduling, and track progress of assigned work segments
  • Review and consolidate PEOAVN tasker inputs from multiple product offices on all exchange sales efforts
  • Receive review, disseminate, consolidate, and report various materiel fielding related taskers from higher headquarters

Qualifications

  • BA/ BS Engineering or in a related field with 5 years of reliability experience
  • An AA/AS may be substituted for the BA/ BS when combined with a total of 10 years equivalent logistics work experience
  • Must have experience with utilization of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of Aviation platforms, systems, and subsystems
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment
  • Must have aviation divestiture, exchange sales experience, documentation development, review, and staffing experience
  • Experience with aviation divestiture, and exchange sales standards, regulations, policies, procedures, processes, techniques, models, tools, and organizations pertinent to Acquisition Logistics.
  • Experience resolving aviation divestiture, and exchange sales management execution and management issues
  • Ability to manage complex development and Materiel Readiness and Fleet Management projects, work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Conducting comprehensive management studies or projects
  • Develop strong working relationships with subordinates, peers, and management personnel and ensure all team members conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
