Job Overview:


GaN is seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer/Data SME to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama to support PEO AVN Fleet Management, Readiness, and Reliability data management and analysis.


  • Experience planning, coordinating, communicating, and providing oversight of fleet management reliability data management and analysis
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the planning and execution of data storage, analysis, and presentation leveraging software and RAM planning coordination processes
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Army reliability standards and the advantage database
  • Possess experience with managing and coordinating operational unit reliability and readiness data with AvMC and other enterprise partners within CECOM and AMCOM
  • Render input in preparation for high-level meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, corporate executives, government action officers, and other vendors. This input may be narrative or charts and should be of a quality that little rework is required by senior analyst or program manager
  • Manage assigned projects such as ASAP, RIMFIRE, FMAS, and CBM+ to a level of accuracy expected of a senior analyst
  • Review, analyze, and interpret various PEOAVN reliability and readiness data to ensure compliance with Army directives and EXORDS
  • Work collaboratively with the Army Aviation Enterprise to ensure that materiel reliability goals are obtained
  • Participate in meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, government action officers, and other vendors to gather and integrate data, assist with project scheduling, and track progress of assigned work segments
  • Review and consolidate PEOAVN CBM+, reliability, and data strategy efforts for the PEO G-4 with inputs from multiple program offices
  • Review and consolidate Smart Charts (Program Reviews) input from multiple product offices


  • BA/ BS Engineering or in a related field with 5 years of reliability experience
  • An AA/AS may be substituted for the BA/ BS when combined with a total of 10 years equivalent logistics work experience
  • Must have experience with utilization of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of Aviation platforms, systems, and subsystems
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment
  • Must have Aviation Maintenance Reliability data and Materiel Readiness experience
  • Experience with Materiel Readiness standards, regulations, policies, procedures, processes, techniques, models, tools, and organizations pertinent to the practice of fleet management and fleet readiness tracking and management
  • Experience resolving Materiel Readiness, management execution, and management issues
  • Ability to manage complex development and Materiel Readiness and Fleet Management projects, work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Conducting comprehensive management studies or projects
  • Develop strong working relationships with subordinates, peers, and management personnel and ensure all team members conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
