Job Overview:

GaN is seeking an experienced Graphic/Web Designer to support various efforts to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This position requires initiative, multi-tasking skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision on all assignments. Our graphic designer should be able to work both independently and on a team where the need for extensive communication is crucial.

Candidate will work with all levels of personnel inside of GaN and with GaN customers to execute various tasks such as designing PowerPoint slides & charts, website graphics & layouts, logos & other branding materials, flyers, posters, brochures, digital signage, t-shirts, etc. The ideal candidate will:

• Be experienced in applying technical solutions to complex problems that require regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
• Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications.
• Place a high value on self-improvement & growing their knowledge of modern design trends.

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field and two or more years of experience

Requirements (minimum):

• Online portfolio of previous design work
• 5+ Years’ experience with Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
• 5+ Years’ experience with WordPress
• 5+ Years’ experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Understanding of HTML and CSS
• Ability of follow corporate style guide
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to take direction and consistently produce professional modern designs and concepts

Additional Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Adobe XD
• Experience working in Windows 10
• Copy writing skills
• Experience with military systems & technologies
• 3D Modeling experience

 Special Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.
