Job Overview:

GaN is seeking a Project Administrator to support our project management team in Huntsville, Alabama. The project administrator will support the program managers and the development team in orchestrating, tracking and documenting activities required to successfully develop a new complex test system being built for the U.S. Army.


The ideal candidate will support our team of program managers with a variety of administrative tasks. These can include, but are not limited to:


  • Act as the point of contact for the project team and facilitate communications.
  • Contract execution, including managing contract deliverables.
  • Break down project tasks, define set goals, and estimate timeframe to completion.
  • Monitor project progress and work with project management to address any potential issues.
  • Act as a meeting coordinator: schedule meetings, and record minutes and action items
  • Meet between teams for specific projects/programs and deliver a monthly report on project performance to senior leadership.
  • Develop appropriate recording procedures in compliance with company requirements.
  • Translate strategies into plans that can be effectively executed to create efficiencies within the organization.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.


Requirements (minimum):


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, and/or program control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint




  • Prior experience as a project coordinator or administrator is highly desired
  • Familiarity with flowcharts, technical documentation, and schedules
  • Effective communication skills across multiple professional disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of technical processes and procedures preferred.


Special Requirements:


  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
