Job Overview:

 

GaN is hiring a Project Coordinator to support our Indicium Operations and Sustainment (IOS) program. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama.

This individual will be the Project Coordinator responsible for the scheduling and coordination of Test Event personnel, management and maintenance of technical systems’ information and components, licensing details for software and hardware, annual maintenance renewal and purchasing requirements, i.e. Builds of Material (BOMs), and the Team’s Project Management in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation & Missile Center’s Systems Simulation, Software and Integration (S3I) Directorate, Indicium Project Office. The Candidate will also create and update system diagrams, assist the Logistics, OPS, Test and System Administration Teams, as-needed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate lists/databases of COTS software and hardware and the associated licenses
    • Create Builds of Material (BOMs) for purchasing various Hardware and Software, researching and assisting Team SMEs for requirements
  • Update/coordinate annual maintenance renewal information
  • Assist Operations Lead on scheduling and coordinating Test Event Support (EWW, Event schedules, Task support, etc)
  • Track and collate cost information to provide the Government customer with accurate funding
  • Update and compile lists of the Indicium Team’s systems with detailed component information
  • Provide updates to system, component and network diagrams using Microsoft Visio
  • Work with Flight and Ground Test leads to create system build sheets
  • Create and track Jira items for Systems Infrastructure
  • Coordinate with Logistics on shipping and receiving
  • Assist the other Indicium Teams with asset tracking, functional test and system configurations

Qualifications

Requirements (minimum):

 

  • BS degree and two (2) years or more of experience, four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Familiarity with IT licensing and annual maintenance renewals
  • Familiarity with various IT systems and components
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio
  • Experience/Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency and Test Event Support/structure

 

 

Special Requirements:

 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance is required to begin work.
