GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a FPGA Developer to support a new development program starting this Summer. The new development is a multi-year from-scratch development of military test equipment that has the potential to extend into a full range of product lines with a unique technical advantage over currently used technology. The person hired for this position will be part of a small team of 5-7 focussed solely on the success of this program.


GaN hires creative and independent thinkers, tinkerers, and makers with a desire to grow personally and professionally as well as to help GaN grow as a company.  To be a part of this team, you must be self-motivated and self-directed to work independently, but also be open and communicative to work as a team.



  • Design and Implement Embedded Systems using FPGAs and Verilog or VHDL code.
  • Implement standaard communication capabilities using FPGAs such as RS-232, Ethernet, etc.
  • Implement automated communication processing to Government provided ICDs.
  • Develop and test software to automate FPGA analysis tasks


  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Notable abundant experience will be considered over education

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in FPGA development
  • Familiarity with VHDL and Verilog
  • Embedded system design

Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Printed Circuit Board design and development
  • Automated Test Equipment development
  • Familiarity with Army Aviation and Missile Systems 
  • Full Stack Developer
  • C/C++/C#


Special Requirements: 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be eligible for a SECRET secutiy clearance
