Job Overview:

 

GaN is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team to support the ongoing needs of our government customers in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to build and maintain tools used to improve, design, test, and automate program plans and reports that effectively communicate everything from ideas to real-time metric-based business intelligence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define key performance metrics and translate them into reports and dashboard views
  • Collection, upkeep, and analysis of program related data
  • Able to take complex data and deliver it in a concise and appropriate matter, transforming data requests into reporting that contains meaningful information for all levels

Qualifications

Requirements (minimum):

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Prior experience with development in Power BI
  • Expert level SharePoint skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft SQL to build complex queries joining data across multiple tables to provide the necessary information to build the reports
  • Experience writing complex DAX expressions
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with multiple levels of government officials
  • Exceptional multitasking, time management and problem-solving skills
  • R programming skills a plus

 

Clearance Requirement:

 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be TOP SECRET clearance eligible
