    GaN has an immediate need for a Field Service Representative (FSR) to support the Medusa Command and Control (C2) system product team. The Medusa System of Systems is the U.S. Airforce's solution for defense against small unmanned aerial systems (s-UAS) Utilizing industry standards and an open architecture approach, the Government owned Medusa Command and Control (Medusa C2) allows for a plug-and-play selection of Passive and Active Sensors, Electronic and Kinetic Weapon Systems, as well as the insertion of a variety of Fusion, Association, Threat and Combat ID Algorithms. 

    Responsibilities

     

    • Installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a program of record software application as well as integrated radios and hardware components.
    • Provide technical support for Service members and civilians in tactical and laboratory environments.
    • Conduct training when needed.
    • Primary duty location is Huntsville, Alabama.
    • CONUS travel to various United States locations.
    • OCONUS deployment will also be required, up to a maximum of 240 days each year.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience (Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)

     

    Required Skills: 

    • Experience with tactical networks and troubleshooting
    • In field operator training
    • Troubleshooting of computer systems and networks
    • Good oral communications
    • Recent experience and proficiency with fielded radios (e.g., 117F, 117G, and 152A) and setting up tactical communications networks.
    • Recent experience with EW and radar systems
    • Basic operational knowledge and troubleshooting of Android-based handheld devices.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
    • Able to work independently and efficiently with short term deadlines.
    • Willingness to travel 75-90%.
    • Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

      

    Desired Skills:

     

    • Prior experience as a military instructor.
    • Experience in developing training materials.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
    • Familiarity with personal computers, switches, routers, Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, network topologies, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to clearly articulate and communicate via email, phone calls, and/or video teleconference.
