    GaN has a requirement for a mid-level Software Engineer to support the U.S. Army’s Aviation initiatives. The successful candidates will work in an agile environment incorporating Model Based Engineering (MBE) processes for the development of a modular open system architecture (MOSA). 

    Responsibilities

    Primary responsibilities include: 

    • Support the development of airworthiness documentation such as integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing, and perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts. 
    • Develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)
    • Perform trade studies.
    • Evaluate airworthiness criteria.
    • Develop automated test procedures for system software, hardware, and other segments and system components.   

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    Bachelor of Science and 2+ years or more experience

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Interim Secret security clearance prior to start date.
    • Ability to develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM).
    • Ability to work in a C++ environment using interactive techniques through Rhapsody. 
    • Ability to define, analyze, develop, and model requirements.
    • Experience in avionics and real time systems. 
    • Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) experience desired.
