    GaN has an immediate need for a highly motivated individual to lead a growing team of cybersecurity subject matter experts in support of multiple tasks for the U.S. Army acquisition community.


    GaN’s Cybersecurity Team Lead will work with a team of cyber subject matter experts to support commercial and government programs. This position requires leadership, ingenuity, initiative, organizational skills, and an ability to grow new business opportunities with minimal supervision.

    • Lead teams of cybersecurity professionals working with DoD acquisition and commercial community
    • Develop new business opportunities and lead proposals for addressing cybersecurity within military systems
    • Provide public representation of GaN and our customers in briefings, meetings, and conferences, and competitions
    • Provide detailed communications and reports to leaders
    • Understand and communicate the "so-what" of cybersecurity to a non-technical audience, not just the technical details


    • BS + 15 years’ experience (minimum). MS or PhD (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans
    • Understanding of systems engineering principles and critical design factors for cybersecurity
    • Ability to assess, plan, prepare, and execute mitigation strategies for malicious cyber activity on U.S. systems
    • Experience in designing, building, maintaining, and operating information systems incorporating cybersecurity design principles at the earliest stages of program development
    • Expertise leading and assisting the customers in the execution of tests and evaluations on weapons system
    • Familiarity with cyber relevant policies, guidelines, and procedures
    • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times
    • Ability to identify and capture new work in cybersecurity

    Desired Skills:

    • Possess multiple DoD 8570 IA certifications such as CEH, ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP, SSCP, GCIA, GCED, GCFA, GCLC, GCIH, GSIH, LPT
    • Military or Civilian Experience with weapon system test and evaluations
    • Military or Civilian Experience in Cyberspace Operations (DoDIN, DCO, and/or OCO) or Information Operations related to Cyberspace
    • Expertise as a lead evaluator for cyber vulnerability assessments
    • Experience conducting penetration testing


    Special Requirements: 

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be willing to travel
    • Must possess a minimum of a Secret Security Clearance, and be eligible for Top Secret/SCI
