    GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a UI/UX Designer to support the ongoing needs of GaN's customers. This position requires initiative, multi-tasking skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision on all assignments.

    To succeed, you must understand how to make something beautiful and insanely functional. To do this, you should be able to:

    • Translate business requirements, end user needs and input from cross-functional teams into into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
    • Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
    • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
    • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
    • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.


    • BA/BS in Human Computer Interactions, Psychology, Information Sciences, Computer Science, or Graphic/Visual Artists required; MA/MS preferred
    • UI/UX for a multicomponent system (app, web, embedded, etc.): 3 years
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating past design experiences and deliverables is a must


    Required Skills:

    • Well versed with Responsive Web design patterns
    • Able to build wireframes, storyboards, and screen flows
    • Experience leveraging wireframes, concepts, and prototypes in order to discover creative solutions
    • Talented at HTML, CSS, and Javascript
    • Some knowledge of other web frameworks such as React, Aurelia, or Angular is a plus
    • Knowledge of desktop/cross-platform frameworks (Qt, WPF, etc.) desired
    • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies
    • Effective and collaborative teamwork and verbal/written communication
    • Strongly passionate about crafting gorgeous, user-centric experiences
    • Lives on the cutting edge of web development trends and technologies


    Desired Skills:

    • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
    • Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
    • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
    • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.
    • Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
