    Responsibilities

    Job responsibilities include the development and execution of systems engineering and project plans based upon customer defined needs, goals, objectives and requirements. Other responsibilities include preparation of responses to task statements and the development of requirements analyses, statements of work and work breakdown structures, technical approach, schedule, staffing & task responsibility matrices and technical review sessions including SRR, SDR, PDR and CDRs with associated budgets, trade studies and risk analyses.

    Qualifications

    • BS in engineering or related technical field
    • Engineering experience in the area of instrumentation design and development in support of operational testing
    • Experience in SCRUM, AGILE or XP desired
    • CompTIA Security+ certification
    • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance and a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

    Required Skills

    • Engineering design, development, testing and integration of hardware and software tools for data acquisition, reduction and analysis onboard combat vehicles and aircraft in an operational environment
    • Knowledge of applicable guidelines and standards related to US Army Testing Technology including MIL STDs 461, 464, 499B and 810
    • Instrumentation expertise related to US Army C4ISR systems, electro-optics, digital video, satellite based navigation systems, real time casualty assessment, accreditation and DoD information assurance processes, standards and guidelines
    • Exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and verbal communication skills
    • Up to 10% travel may be required
