    GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a Systems Engineer with experience with project management and system integration. This position requires initiative, multi-tasking skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision on all assignments. Our Systems Engineer / Project Manager should be able to work flexibly both independently and on a team, where the need for extensive communication is crucial.

    Responsibilities

    The candidate(s) will work within a team and on your own to perform a range of systems engineering functions and other GaN related tasks to include:

    • Collecting, documenting, and analyzing customer requirements
    • Creating functional and system level designs to meet requirements
    • Coordinating with Army and DoD organization in the development of the system designs
    • Lead system integration efforts leveraging cross domain teams
    • Developing system documentation
    • Design and execute tests for developed and integrated systems
    • Deploy systems and support integration and test efforts
    • Assist in managing project funding, schedule, and risk
    • Execute and maintain GaN CMMI Level 3 processes
    • Mentor the next generation of engineers as GaN grows
    • Support business development efforts to include developing solutions to customer needs that are in line with your passions.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a B.S. in a science or engineering discipline
    • 5+ years of experience

    Required Skills:

    • Experience with system requirements management and analysis and turning those in to system designs
    • Experience with integration of hardware and software systems
    • Experience with managing project funding, schedule, and risk
    • Exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and verbal communication skills
    • Dedicated to customer service, quality, and team building

     

    Desired Skills:

     

    • Proficient in MS Office tools with specific focus on Excel and Project
    • Knowledge of DoD Test and Evaluation
    • Knowledge of Modeling and Simulation
    • Knowledge of Field Instrumentation Systems
    • Knowledge of Electro-optic / Infrared Sensors
    • Knowledge of CMMI and other process improvement models

     

    Special Requirements: 

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must possess Security Clearance specified below
