    GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a Test Engineer to support upcoming work in Orlando, FL. This position requires initiative, multi-tasking skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. We are looking for exceptionally talented people that excel in collaborative environments and can work directly with Government civil servants, other contractors, and academia in analyzing different systems and capabilities. The successful candidate will need a broad understanding of different types of testing and test technologies and how those technologies can be integrated and used to accomplish a broader test mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Writing, reviewing, and coordinating test and evaluation plans and reports on different systems and capabilities
    • Advising team on types of tests to conduct, test technologies to be used, and test resources that can be leveraged to conduct tests
    • Working with Government, industry, and academia to test and evaluate the effectiveness of new systems and capabilities developed to protect the United States and our allies
    • Developing T&E guidebooks, policy, and workforce development plans

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline
    • 5+ years of T&E experience

     

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to perform complex analysis and write thorough test plans and reports
    • Effective communication skills and ability to lead small ad-hoc teams

     

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with DoD developmental and operational testing
    • Experience with different types of testing such as hardware-in-the-loop, bench testing, open-air-flight, live-fire, etc.
    • Experience with different analysis tools such as MATLAB and OCTAVE
    • Experience with the use of different modeling and simulation tools such as EADSIM and OneSAF

     

    Special Requirements: 

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must possess Security Clearance specified below
