GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a Modeling and Simulation Subject Matter Expert II to support the Test Technology Support and Services contract. This position requires initiative, multi-tasking skills, and an ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision on all assignments.

Responsible for setup and configuration of constructive simulations in support of test planning. This includes configuring networks, systems administration, loading software, managing configuration settings, and troubleshooting. Establish interoperability between a federation of simulation programs. Work with simulation operators to ensure full functionality and data flow. Harden operating systems and networks to standards in accordance with the Army’s Risk Management Framework. Support operational testing at Ft Hood or temporary locations across the country.


  •  Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred. (Will consider a H.S. diploma with qualifying prerequisites)


Required Skills:

  • The candidate must possess the ability to learn advanced techniques of configuring and operating constructive simulations and use those tools in support of operational test planning and execution.
  • Candidate must possess advanced skills in managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Security + certification is required.
  • Ability to configure Cisco routers and switches is required. CCNA certification is not required, but CCNA training is a plus.



Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience with Army Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes is a plus.
  • Previous experience using constructive simulations in support of Army training events or in support of developmental or operational testing is a plus.
