Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team and build out the next generation of our platform. We are seeking someone with a background in Mathematics and experience in Analytics, Data Science and Data Products. They must have Strong, Firsthand Technical Expertise and the Proven Ability to Fashion Robust Scalable Solutions that can collect and manage data sets for support of US Army Operational Testing. They must also be at ease working in an Agile Development Environment with little supervision. Travel is required as well as direct interface with the customer. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, Debugging & Maintaining Software Applications in accordance with Design Specifications
  • Development and Integration of Rapid Prototyping Solutions
  • Designing and Conducting Functional, Integration and Performance Tests
  • Executing and Maintaining CMMI processes
  • Testing Software Development Methodology in an Agile Development Environment
  • Supporting Enhancements for Existing Systems and Platforms
  • Developing Documentation, Data Flow Diagrams, Layouts, Charts, Interface Control Documents (ICD), code comments and legible code
  • Detail-oriented with the Capacity to Work well in Groups and a Willingness to understand the various roles played by fellow team members
  • Working Closely with other Engineers to Elevate Technology and consistently Apply Best Practices in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) guidelines

Qualifications

  • Experience with Modern Operating Systems, Programming Languages and Design Concepts including C++, C# , Scripting Languages & JAVA on various Windows, Unix-based and Mobile/Embedded Architectures
  • Understanding of Networking Application Programming, Networking Principles and Real-Time/Resource Sensitive Software development practices
  • An Understanding of the Problem Sets, and Solutions used to support Operational Test is invaluable
  • Working Knowledge of SQL, Database Design, Database Administration and Optimization
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an Accredited University

  • 5+ Years of Software Development Experience within a DoD Test Environment
  • Knowledge of US Army Real Time Casualty Assessment Systems
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Must have or be able to Obtain a minimum of a DoD SECRET Clearance
