GaN is seeking a program manager (PM) for an exciting new multi-million dollar development project starting soon. The PM will lead a small multi-disciplined team to design, build, integrate, test, verify, and validate a complex test system that will be installed on Redstone Arsenal to support Aviation system testing. The project will include a large electro-mechanical system, a stabilized platform, electro-optic equipment, software, models and simulations, instrumentation and electronics, and minor construction. In addition to performing as the program manager, the PM is expected to coordinate the systems engineering process required to develop the test system.   • Execution of the project to a firm-fixed-price budget.
  • Managing direct report personnel, subcontractors, and vendors

  • Working directly with Government customers and end-users

  • PM will have responsibility to build a system that meets specifications, exceeds expectations, completed on time, and stays under budget

  • Coordination of the systems engineering process through the life-cycle of the system development from requirements decomposition through verification and validation.
  • Executing and maintaining GaN processes per our CMMI Level 3 accreditation

  • Supporting business development efforts to include developing solutions to customer needs that are in line with your passions
  • Mentoring the next generation of engineers as GaN grows


  • BS in Engineering or related technical field.

  • Program Managemnet Professional (PMP) certified or significant experience with ability to obtain PMP within 3 months of hire

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of ten years' experience with program management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, team formulation and management
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Candidate must be personable and out-going.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times.
  • Dedicated to customer service, quality, and team building.
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently.
  • Proven cost, schedule and risk management skills
Additional Skillsets of Interest:  
  • System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with CMMI-DEV Level3
  • Familiarity with Army Aviation and Rotary Wing Aviation (RWA) platforms and components
  • Familiarity with Army test and evaluation (T&E)
  • Special Requirements:
