Overview

GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for Hardware Engineers to support contracts on Redstone Arsenal. Positions to be filled range from junior level (3 years of experience) to senior and subject matter experts.  The candidate(s) will be supporting various types of weapon and defensive tactical system integration and test labs including hardware-in-the-loop, software test bed, system integration, and live-virtual-constructive distributed environments.

Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will work within a team and independently to lead and perform the full range of hardware engineering functions and other related tasks to include:

  • Develop integration and test lab capabilities
  • Develop or modify custom electronics 
  • Perform verification and validation of integration and test labs
  • Perform system-of-systems integration test and evaluation
  • Collect and analyzing customer requirements
  • Create functional and system level designs to meet requirements
  • Develop the appropriate solution per the design

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

     

    Skillsets of Interest:  Candidates must be experienced is several of the areas below.

    • Embedded System Design
    • Printed Circuit Board Design
    • FPGA / SoC Design
    • Firmware Development
    • C, C++, C#
    • Assembly
    • Linux
    • Windows
    • Networking
    • Hardware Interfacing
    • MS Windows Driver Development
